All fans of Call of Duty they will certainly have seen skins reminiscent of familiar characters, whether it be John McClain from Die Hard or Ghostface from Scream. However, not all of these costumes are popular with fans. Just think of that of Roze, infamous for making players invisible by provoking the anger of anyone who finds her against her. A recent, very adorable and very soft skin, on the other hand, looks all too familiar to an artist who is now accusing the publisher of plagiarism.
The item in question represents a little dog and was first shown this week in an update on the patch for the fourth season of Call Of Duty: Warzone. The update includes elements related to pop culture, such as the Terminators from Terminator 1 and 2 and the adorable Samoyed dog skin which bears a striking resemblance to a design originally uploaded to ArtStation two years ago by concept artist Sail Lin. Today, the artist himself turned to Twitter and his page on ArtStation to accuse of plagiarism Activision Blizzard.
Within the post in question, the artist defines himself as a fan of Call of Duty: Warzone and says he is embittered by what happened. As a self-employed artist, Sail Lin feels compelled to point out what happened so it doesn’t happen again. In addition, the post ends with some screens that portray the work in question paired with some video frames of the skin. On the official title pages, however, the skin has already been removed, as has the offending video. In its place, Terminator images have been added to focus attention on this additional content.

The original graphic in question, titled “SAMOYE MEDICAL” on Sail Lin’s ArtStation page, is part of a series of anthropomorphic animals equipped with military equipment, apparently titled “The Monster Army”. The illustrations are many and depict all kinds of animals, with several dogs inside, among which, in fact, the offending image.
