EA Sports just released the first gameplay trailer for FIFA 23. We are entering the hot period for the longest-running football title on the market which, for its final season before the name change, continues to show new content. Only a few days ago, in fact, the developers announced the return of Juventus to officially licensed clubs. In today’s trailer, however, we see the many innovations on the gameplay side that the title will offer.
The main novelty of FIFA 23 is undoubtedly the inclusion of the new and improved Hypermotion 2. It is a new movement scanning system that allows for smoother and more faithful animations. It will be used to make the running styles of the different players more faithful, to improve the physics of the game in the impacts with the ball and to make the movements of the players in women’s matches more faithful. Furthermore, EA Sports he has worked a lot on goalkeepers who, thanks to these new movements, will carry out improved technical gestures with interventions that will also be able to exploit the fingertips.
To improve, in this new edition of the football title are also the offensive and defensive departments. In the first case, FIFA 23 allows attackers a new shooting mechanic called Power Shot. This will allow for a shot with a greater chance of finishing but which, on the other hand, will be more difficult to master than a standard shot. In the defensive department, however, we will be able to take advantage of new movements to counter the opponent by taking position and a new and improved sliding system. The latter will allow us to remove the ball more effectively than standard tackles.
Finally, we remind you that FIFA 23 marks the end of the agreement between IT’S AT and FIFA. The football title will return next season with a new name. This year, however, its release is scheduled for September 27, 2021 on PC and consoles.
