Recently, a famous leaker revealed a lot of information about the Google Pixel 7 series camera hardware through a series of tweets. The leak suggests that Google may use the Pixel 6 series’ GN1 primary sensor and the IMX381 ultra-wide sensor on the Pixel 7 series devices.
However, they will have to change the font camera on the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro to the 11 MP Samsung 3J1 sensor. Both Pixel smartphones may be capable of recording 4K videos with the front camera.
Also, the Pixel 7 Pro may feature a new Samsung GM1sensor compared to last year’s Sony IMX586.
In terms of looks, the upcoming Pixel devices will be similar to the Pixel 6 series. Both Pixel phones will now sport aluminum camera visors. The base variant will have one big cutout, and the Pro variant will have two cutouts. A separate cutout will house the telephoto camera.
A report from another source based on Google’s patent suggested that the Google Pixel 7 series may bring an under-display selfie camera.
Analysts also expect slimmer bodies this year.
