In addition to the Galaxy Z Fold4, Samsung announced his other foldable, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4. While both are foldable, the form factor between them in use cases is arguably totally different. The Galaxy Z Flip4 refers to the first cell phones with a cover, and this fourth generation comes with improvements as a result of a refining process since its first variant.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4: Specifications and details
The Galaxy Z Flip4 is also not left out of the revision of the folding mechanism, which is now slimmer and the space when folding is tighter, resulting in a more compact and resistant smartphone.
The internal screen of the Galaxy Z Flip4 remains at 6.7 inches, although its edges lose ground in favor of dimensions. The Dynamic AMOLED panel has an FHD + resolution and has an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz, with the selfie camera sticking out of a hole.
The cover screen is a 1.9-inch AMOLED panel the same as the previous generation. As is the case with the Galaxy Z Fold4, Samsung tries to take advantage of the form factor and improves the functionality of this screen with customizable panels that are synchronized with the main UI themes.
The cover screen enables widgets and shortcuts that allow you to access phone functions without even opening it, for example to use Samsung Pay or control home devices through SmartThings.
