Each new chapter of the Marvel Cineamtic Universe has accustomed us to the presence not only of the main protagonists, but also to the debut of further figures from the comics of the House of Ideas. Whether it’s simple extras or real entrances to the franchise, this tradition will also be maintained in the next series of the Marvel Cinematic Universe dedicated to Jennifer Walters, arriving on August 17th on Disney +. To reiterate the important cameo presence in She-Hulk: Attorney At Law was Jessica Gao, screenwriter of the series.
We will see several Marvel character cameos in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law
Sina from the early Marvel Cinematic Universe series on Disney +, like WandaVision or The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, we have witnessed the presence, alongside the main character, of other faces that have titillated the curiosity of the passionate readers of Marvel comics. During her presence at San Diego Comic-Con, Jessica Gao, speaking with Deadline, specified how viewers can expect several cameos in She-Hulk:
“There will be a lot of fun and there will be several cameos, we have taken a lot of characters from the comics that have never been seen before in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. What thrilled me most is finding the right space and timing to develop these characters in the best possible way, because in Marvel movies you always have this great expectation, the universe is ending, half of its entire existence has been canceled … we don’t have never really the time to find out who these people are. How is their daily life? And the great thing is that now we finally have the time and space to do it “
The presence of these cameos is, as mentioned, a tradition of the franchise. If the presence of the beloved Stan Lee was a moment of particular emotion for fans, the appearances of heroes are an integral part of the continuity or the rapid presence of characters who have not been able to develop properly are integral parts of the narrative development of the stories. Just think of the appearance of the three Wall Climbers in Spider-Man: No Way Home, halfway between fan service and emotion, but what Gao said seems to be a conception of building a more cohesive world, in which cameos are inserted as an important narrative piece. Not surprisingly, in the latest She-Hulk trailer we were able to enjoy the presence of Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), who after making his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Spider-Man: No Way Home as a lawyer, apparently in the Jennifer Walters series he will make an appearance as Daredevil.
