Apple added new advertising spaces in the App Store
The App Store has just had a small change that will benefit all developers and will confirm that Apple is still working to help them and offer all benefits of the applications it hosts and that are aimed at users.
In 2017, the App Store had a very important redesign that implemented the “Today” page, a space that welcomes the user whenever the app store opens and that allows developers to promote their applications, as well as offering more information about trends and displaying editorial content related to some applications .
Currently developers can advertise their applications in the “Search” tab and on the “Search Results” page. and although this has turned out to be a successApple has implemented new ways of advertising and that developers of all projects have greater reach.

New advertising on the App Store
Apple announced last weekend is expanding advertising possibilities. As it rolls out everywhere, users will start seeing new ads in the Today tab and they will distinguish of known content.
Additionally, there will be new announcements for users at the bottom of an app’s information page and marked as a new mini section named “You might also be interested in”, which will offer alternatives of that app from other developers.
It is important to mention that the ads are available to developers with the same policies that have been worked on so far:
- Freedom to choose whether to enable personalized ads
- Personalized ads will not be shown to users under the age of 18, users with an Apple ID associated with a child under 13, or managed accounts.
- Other rules for targeting and directing advertising to user profiles.
Recently, there was another big change, the App Store started accepting new payment methods in South Korea. It is undoubtedly one of the aspects that was greatly required in that area and that could influence its global implementationl.
