Apple leaves nothing to chance. Whether hardware or software, up to the smallest detail is studied to the millimeter. And we, how could it be otherwise, we love telling these kinds of stories. And today we bring you a new one that you probably didn’t know.
Surely you know the history of the time of the iPhone. in all Apple’s official images of the iPhone or iPad appear at the time 9:41. Steve Jobs presented the original iPhone precisely at 9:42, and from that moment that was the time chosen to show in all official images. Nevertheless, in 2010 with the introduction of the iPad the time changed to 9:41an hour that began to be used since then.
The entrance emoji keeps a secret
But this is not the only curiosity related to this characteristic hour, the entrance emoji also hides secrets, similar to the ones hidden by the receipt emoji. Curiosities that tell us the history of Apple.
The entrance emoji also has its history
The first thing to recognize is that it is a difficult secret to find. The input emoji is too small and reading what it says is very difficult if we don’t enlarge it. But no matter how small, the details are not lost on Apple.
As you can see, the time appears in the entry. The same time that appears on all the iPhones that we have already mentioned, 9:41. But the entry also includes the date, JAN 09, that is January 9. The keynote date on which the original iPhone was introduced.
It is surprising to see how Apple is so thorough as to hide these kinds of secrets in something as small as an emoji. It is certainly an example of the importance that Apple gives to design with both software and devices.
We don’t know if there are more secrets hidden inside iOS, I hope we find many more and we can tell you. So if you know any we would love for you to share it with us. They are great stories and secrets that are worth knowing.
