Since it came out now a couple of years ago, The Last of Us 2 has received several compliments and awards. Although many did not feel the need for a second chapter, Naughty Dog managed to surprise many fans with a sequel of the highest quality in every component. The title has met the favor not only of fans, but also many developers and other personalities from the entertainment world have wanted to underline the goodness of the PlayStation title.
The latest to speak out on The Last of Us 2 are two highly acclaimed film directors, who directed the blockbusters Avengers Infinity War and Avengers Endgame. We are obviously talking about the Russo brothers, who talked about The Last of Us in a recent video made with the IGN editorial team. In addition to talking about their recent The Gray Man, Anthony and Joe Russo were asked to rate some of the chase scenes in the video gamesone from Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and the other from the second The Last of Us.
Speaking of the two titles in question, the Russo brothers have declared that for them it is about two of the best gaming experiences ever. As the scene of Abby’s escape from one of the infected beasts passed on the screen, Joe Russo wanted to declare the following: “This seems to have come out of a Steven Spielberg-like imagery”which underlines the high spectacularity of the scene and at the same time the cleanliness with which it was shot.
Uncharted also took the praise of the two directors, with the brothers calling it one of the best action out there. It is increasingly obvious that now video games can also inspire the works of great directors cinematic, given that never as in this historical period the videogame medium is at its maximum splendor and able to offer anyone experiences of the highest level.
