Diabolik Teaser Trailer – Ginko Attack!
The video published on 01 Distribution’s social networks heralds darker atmospheres as well as confirming the return of Miriam Leone and Valerio Mastandrea respectively as Eva Kant and Inspector Ginko. Absolute new entry Monica Bellucci, who in the film will play the role of Altea, love interest of the inspector and character well known to fans of the comic. Diabolik’s new film, directed once again by the Manetti Bros., will act from a real “origin story” of the king of terror, explaining how his figure was born and where he grew up. The directors have also confirmed a third chapter of which at the moment not much is known.
As happens numerous times in the comic, Diabolik is known to be the man of a thousand faces. The change of actor, therefore, should not confuse viewers. Gianniotti compared his casting to that of James Bond films, explaining how the new Diabolik sequels will have more action scenes than the first and will require more stunts. Among the criticisms made to Diabolik there was in fact a very slow narrative pacing and an acting not exactly at the highest levels.
Walk on razor-sharp edges. But Ginko, this time, will not be alone.
