Xiaomi has decided to bring to the Peruvian market its new cell phone with gamer characteristics: it is the Little F4a device with a slim design that can be held with one hand, but in terms of internal characteristics there are details that you should know if you are going to buy it.
We had the opportunity to try the Xiaomi Poco F4 in black for a few weeks and finally we have the review smartphone end. Good or bad?
Xiaomi’s Poco F4 has a fairly clean design although it is a bit heavy in the hand. The terminal has a structure of 163.2 x 76 x 7.7 mm and 195 grams. In the back we can see a chassis made of glass, which gives it that elegant perspective, especially the black color.
There we not only locate the name of the brand, but also the camera module that does not protrude too much from the body and there is no fear of placing it without a case and that the device will start to wobble on the table.

On the sides, frames made of plastic, it has the button of on and off that plays as a fingerprint reader, the volume ones, the USB Type-C port, the SIMCard slot and the external memory. Stereo speakers are also added.
On the front, its screen is 6.67 inches, leaving few bezels around it. It also has a small hole in the screen. The good thing is that this terminal is IP 53, that is, it supports some splashes, now that it is raining in Lima, but it is not submersible or anything like that.

Xiaomi’s Poco F4 has a 6.67-inch panel that carries 120 Hz refresh rate technology, but also has AMOLED technology, which will offer you quite perfect contrasts and blacks. The tones are superior thanks to its HDR10 +being able to correctly enjoy your YouTube videos or Netflix series without reflection problems or something like that.
The display occupies 86.6% of the total facade and can support between 900 to 1300 nits so you don’t miss any of your notifications when you’re in the sun.

Although all the screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5it is necessary that you put a more resistant protective mica to avoid some scratches or untimely falls that generate rapid deterioration of the equipment.
On the subject of clip playback, you can get up to 2160 pixels at 60 frames per second, making the image more vivid provided by its 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution. Good detail that Xiaomi places on the Poco F4.

Already moving to the internal section, the Poco F4 has a processor Snapdragon 870 that, although they do not harm the performance of the equipment at all, which remains stable, it would be good if Xiaomi already gives it the ability to evolve.
In the Poco F4 we have 128 GB of storage, in addition to 6 GB of well-optimized RAM memory that can be increased up to 2 GB more. That way the team’s performance won’t slow down as the years go by.

During the performance of the Xiaomi smartphone we have not presented any kind of shocks such as lag or anything like that. The fact that it comes with Android 12 and MIUI 13 gives it some stabilization of not overloading the team with animations.
About the games? His main fort. Poco F4 can run Genshin Impact at high refresh rate, achieving graphics perfection. There is not a hint of lag in movements or attacks. Even the color contrasts give it a remarkable appearance. Similarly in Fortnite, you can also reach the epic graph. Of course, you must be patient since it will take time to download the graphics in HD.

Does it get hot? The temperature that Xiaomi’s Poco F4 has is balanced. That means that there is not too much heat at the end, but there is a certain lukewarmness that recovers quite quickly as your games progress.
Xiaomi does not want to sacrifice anything and gives the Poco F4 with triple rear sensor headed by a 64-megapixel lens, 8-megapixel ultrawide, and 2-megapixel macro. For its part, the front lens is 20 megapixels.
The device comes out well in its range because in the average sector it has photographs with a good level of lighting, but at night the wonder is lost.

The Poco F4 5G does its job. The images manage to bet on an artificial intelligence that works in conjunction with the HDR in the main camera, making sure that the photos do not come out too dark and with details that stand out.
Of course, the processing of the photo takes around 3 to 5 seconds to offer the results after the shot and many will not like it, but it is a product of the configuration that the Xiaomi camera brings.

In some aspects the colors are remarkable, especially the greens and the blue of the sky, as long as it is sunny. In case of cloudiness, the images may come out with too much shadow or darkness.

On the other hand, on the subject of the wide angle, although it has good potential, it does not reach the main camera very much, staying a little below the original lighting. While the macro effect makes it remarkable, highlighting the object in front of the others when we get closer to see things that we do not see with the naked eye.
In the case of the front camera, the good thing is that Xiaomi’s Poco F4 does not add exaggeration to our skin, noticing greater naturalness in spaces with good lighting. You can even use portrait mode to blur the background so you stand out. Thing that at night is the opposite.
The Xiaomi Poco F4 has a 4500 mAh battery. The good thing is that you have the charger and the plug inside the box that provide you with that 68 W of charge. Likewise, the terminal can obtain 50% in just 20 minutes, while it will reach 100% in less than 40 minutes.

- Xiaomi’s Poco F4 is quite a warrior cell phone. He comes out well in any situation he puts himself in.
- There are no shocks and the fact that it already has Android 12, despite repeating a processor, gives it greater fluidity so that it does not suffer any kind of slowdown or slowdown.
