After the countless delays due to the blocking of transport in China, the Figuarts Zero from Yamato “Thunder Bagua” based on the Wano saga of the ultra-centennial manga of one piece.
Yamato is Kaido’s daughter, born and raised to be his heir, the young woman instead developed a deep admiration for the samurai Oden. After the death of her mentor, she Yamato decides to become a man, impersonating him and adopting her ways. This path of rebellion led Yamato to contrast her father Kaido with her, imprisoning her for most of her life in Onigashima. As a young woman she made friends with Ace during his visit to the country of Wano, and once she learned of the latter’s death she decided to wait for the arrival of her brother Monkey D. Luffy. She along with the Straw Hat pirates she lashes out at her father Kaido stating that she wants to sail with Luffy and his crew once the war is over and that the latter is the man Oden was waiting for.
The box graphically stays online with all the previous releases dedicated to One Piece, frontally we will find a large transparent window thanks to which it will be possible to peek at the figures that we will find inside without having to open the package. She usually wears a white kimono with purple wavy lines, the bottom of her is a red skirt, closed by a white and purple cord on her waist. The girl possesses as a weapon, a mace called Takeru, with which he proved to be very skilled during the clashes. The statue is called “Thunder Bagua “(Raimei Hakke) that is the name of the powerful shot thrown by the weapon. The coloring is well done, especially on the hair. The effect part on the club makes the power of the blow that the character is about to throw at his opponent very well. The face sculpt is flawless and the resemblance to the animated counterpart is truly magnificent.
With Yamato, the company achieves the goal of achieving a piece of strong visual impact and at the same time very scenic that can only stand out among the other pieces of the same line. In conclusion, we are faced with an excellent figure, who perfectly recreate both the effect of the blow but also the traditional clothes, enhancing the sculpt of the entire statue.
